Strengthening Sustainability at MCBÜ: Collaboration Meeting Held with Student Clubs

A meeting was organized by the Sustainable Campuses Coordination Office of Manisa Celal Bayar University (MCBÜ) with representatives of student clubs, aiming to raise awareness about sustainability across the university and to strengthen ongoing initiatives in this field.

MCBÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar also attended the meeting, where she shared her vision on sustainability and expressed her full support for student involvement. During the discussion, participants explored opportunities for collaboration in various areas such as expanding eco-friendly practices on campus, promoting recycling awareness, enhancing energy efficiency, waste management, and implementing social responsibility projects.

Officials from the Sustainable Campuses Coordination Office emphasized that involving student clubs in the process would not only raise awareness but also play a key role in helping the university achieve its sustainability goals.

At the end of the meeting, all participants agreed to take joint steps toward building a more sustainable campus.
