Manisa Celal Bayar University took part in the Global Sustainable Development Congress 2025 (GSDC 2025), held at the Istanbul Congress Center between June 16–19, 2025.

Our Assistant Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Deniz Dirik and Sustainability Living Committee Member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hatice Gürgen Şimşek represented our university at the congress, closely following the latest global developments in the field of sustainability. During the event, our representatives had the opportunity to engage with academics, policymakers, and private sector representatives from around the world, while showcasing the university’s sustainability vision on an international platform.

At this prestigious event, where academic, social, and policy-oriented solutions to global sustainable development goals were discussed, our university delegates participated in sessions focusing on green transformation, sustainable campus practices, and sustainability in education.
